The work

The Hepatitis B Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure and improving the quality of life for those affected by hepatitis B worldwide. Our commitment includes funding focused research, promoting disease awareness, supporting immunization and treatment initiatives, and serving as the primary source of information for patients and their families, the medical/scientific community and general public.

PATIENT SUPPORT

We serve over 10,000 people with living with hepatitis B and liver cancer every year through our consult helpline, and screen over 20,000 a year

 

 

RESEARCH

More than 30 scientists work to advance drug discovery and conduct research into hepatitis B diagnosis, treatment and associated issues, particularly hepatitis D and liver cancer.

EDUCATION

Through over 4,000,000 hits per year on our website, 50 scientific seminars per year, dozens of “train the trainer” webinars with healthcare professionals, about 60 meetings with elected officials in Washington DC, and dozens of newsletters sent to people across the globe each year, we’re the number one resource in the world for hepatitis B and liver cancer.
