University of Oxford Scholarships
In July 2004, the Hepatitis B Foundation entered into an historic agreement with the University of Oxford to sponsor a joint training program to recruit college graduates into science. Candidates who have successfully completed college or a STEER Fellowship are eligible to apply through the Hepatitis B Foundation for enrollment into scientific doctoral studies at the University of Oxford.
The Hepatitis B Foundation is one of only two such programs the University of Oxford offers in the United States (the other program is at The Scripps Institute, La Jolla, CA).
An admissions committee comprised of the Hepatitis B Foundation,
Institute for Hepatitis
and Virus Research, and the
Drexel
Institute, will review all applications. Qualified candidates
will be presented to the University of Oxford for their review
and final decision; however, up to two doctoral candidates presented
by the Foundation could be accepted. The Hepatitis B Foundation
will provide a full three-year scholarship with a small living
stipend for candidates who are accepted into the Oxford doctoral
program. For more information, please contact the Hepatitis
B Foundation at
