Hepatitis B Foundation Honors Dr. Robert Purcell Former Chief of Hepatitis Viruses Section of the National Institutes of Health at Most Successful Gala to Date
On May 3, 2013, the Hepatitis B Foundation hosted its annual Crystal Ball fundraiser at Jericho National Golf Course in New Hope, Pa. More than 250 leaders from the community, academia, corporations, government, pharmaceutical and biotech industries gathered to support the Foundation. The benefit raised more than $100,000 to advance the Foundation’s mission of eliminating hepatitis B worldwide. Read More...

6th Annual Holiday Food Drive Sponsored by the Hepatitis B Foundation and PA Biotechnology Center
Dec. 12 – For a sixth consecutive year the staff, scientists, and entrepreneur companies who work at the Hepatitis B Foundation and the PA Biotechnology Center generously donated 1,095 pounds of non-perishable food items plus monetary contributions of $1,600.00 for the
Bucks County Housing Group food pantry to help feed local community members who may need some assistance at this time.

Hepatitis B Foundation Hosts Crystal Ball on April 27, 2012 Honoring Dr. Howard Koh
The Hepatitis B Foundation of Doylestown, Pa., will host its annual Crystal Ball on Friday, April 27, 2012 at PineCrest Country Club in Lansdale, Pa. The Natural Products Discovery Institute Announces Collaboration with the Ohio State University on Colon Cancer
The Natural Products Discovery Institute (NPDI) has signed its second collaborative agreement to provide access to the formerly private Merck Natural Products Collection that was received as a donation from the company this past summer. Dr. Douglas Kinghorn, Jack L. Beal Professor and Chair, College of Pharmacy, was funded by a grant from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) of the National Institutes of Health to gain access to this world-class collection. Natural Products Discovery Institute Signs First Major Deal
The Natural Products Discovery Institute (NPDI) has signed its first major deal to allow qualified researchers to access the formerly private Merck Natural Products Collection that it received as a donation from the company this past summer. Dr. David Kingston, University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Virginia Tech, will be the first outside researcher to gain access to this world-class collection of plant natural products. The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, in Doylestown, Pa., is marking its 5th year anniversary as one of the region’s success stories during a tough economy.
