ABOUT THE CYCLIST:

John Ellis, is a 17 year-old young man who was diagnosed with hepatitis B in 2006. Instead of being discouraged by this devastating medical diagnosis, John has turned the news into an opportunity to raise awareness about the seriousness of hepatitis B and to share a message of hope that hepatitis B is preventable and treatable. According to John, “I don’t simply wish to sit around and fight for myself because I’m not the only one that this has affected.”
