Hepatitis B Foundation Hosts Crystal Ball on April 27, 2012 Honoring Dr. Howard Koh
The Hepatitis B Foundation of Doylestown, Pa., will host its annual Crystal Ball on Friday, April 27, 2012 at PineCrest Country Club in Lansdale, Pa. The Crystal Ball attracts hundreds of leaders from the community, academic institutions, government, health care industry and biotech executives. The Natural Products Discovery Institute Announces Collaboration with the Ohio State University on Colon Cancer
The Natural Products Discovery Institute (NPDI) has signed its second collaborative agreement to provide access to the formerly private Merck Natural Products Collection that was received as a donation from the company this past summer. Dr. Douglas Kinghorn, Jack L. Beal Professor and Chair, College of Pharmacy, was funded by a grant from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) of the National Institutes of Health to gain access to this world-class collection. Natural Products Discovery Institute Signs First Major Deal
The Natural Products Discovery Institute (NPDI) has signed its first major deal to allow qualified researchers to access the formerly private Merck Natural Products Collection that it received as a donation from the company this past summer. Dr. David Kingston, University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Virginia Tech, will be the first outside researcher to gain access to this world-class collection of plant natural products. Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center Celebrates 5 Years as an Economic Success Story
The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, in Doylestown, Pa., is marking its 5th year anniversary as one of the region’s success stories during a tough economy.
