A First Gathering of Friends

June 8 - 10, 2001

The Hepatitis B Foundation (HBF) in collaboration with the Online Hepatitis B Information and Support Listserv (HB-L) sponsored "B Informed 2001: A Gathering of Friends", which is the first meeting specifically dedicated to those living with or affected by hepatitis B.

From as far away as Spokane, Chicago, and Dallas, forty people attended this national patient conference to share their stories, listen to updates from medical and scientific experts, and make new friends in the emerging hepatitis B community.

Topics included treatment, liver transplantation, blood tests and what it's like to live with chronic hepatitis B.
