Informed Patient Conference 2006
June 10-11, 2006, Stanford California
The Hepatitis B Foundation’s Annual B Informed Patient Conference was hosted by the Asian Liver Center at Stanford University this year the weekend of June 10 -11 in Stanford, California. It was a gathering of old and new friends who traveled near and far to learn and share from experts, and from one another, about how to live successfully with chronic hepatitis B.
More than 100 patients, parents of children, and their loved ones attended the two day conference that focused on the care and management of chronic hepatitis B. Through presentations by experts, interactive question and answer sessions, personal testimonies and single-topic workshop sessions offered in multiple languages (English, Chinese, and Vietnamese), valuable information and support was given and shared.
Highlights from the main information sessions are provided, with copies of the slides that the experts used during their presentation. Please know that these summaries are not detailed transcriptions of what was said, but rather, they provide an overview of the key points made by the speakers.
