12. Hepatitis A Incidence - By Age Group

If you look today at what we call age-specific
incidence, who is getting these infections, we see that the children
who once had the highest rate of hepatitis A, now have the lowest rate
of hepatitis A, because that is where we are vaccinating. What we now see is that adults are the group
who are continuing with this disease, and most of the outbreaks and
clusters that we see in the US are adults.
